Each Summer Skills League session features 45 minutes of up-tempo training followed by 45 minutes of action packed 7v7 league play. During the training portion of Summer Skills, Coach Harnett trains players in a carefully scripted series of individual player development, positional development, and team play skill set training progressions. Following each training period, Coach Harnett and his staff then direct controlled scrimmages where learning and training meet live play and competition in a proven cadence.

We welcome and accommodate all skill levels from beginner to advanced, entering grades 3-9. Players will train and compete in focused groups based on their age and level of play. Our goal is to build the complete player while teaching the modern fundamentals of our game as a spring board to future success.

Space is limited (per location) to 24 players in each grade division (3/4, 5/6, 7/8, High School) for intermediate and advanced players, and 16 players per grade division for beginners (modified 5 v 5 play).

Enrollment is now closed. Please contact coachharnett@G7Alacrosse.com to learn more.

Weather Procedures

In an effort to be clear and consistent for the benefit of player, parent and staff planning, Summer Skills League sessions will occur rain or shine. In the instance where there is a threat of lightening or severe weather warnings from National Weather Services, under US Lacrosse guidelines, Summer Skills League may be delayed and/or cancelled by our program director.

In the event glaring inclement weather is on the horizon, a member of our staff will keep a thumb on the pulse of the radar/forecast and will confirm whether or not that evenings session is “ON” or “OFF”. On these days, final decisions will be communicated by email (and posted to our website/social media accounts) no later than 5:00pm and as early as reasonably possible.

In the event practice is cancelled while in session, our staff will communicate the cancellation to each family by email before posting this notification on our website, on our Twitter handle (@G7ALacrosse) and on our Facebook account. In these instances, a coach will remain at the field until all the players have been picked up.
